Welcome
Journey Through the Colours of Your Life
Colour has power. It is everywhere, every day, touching each and every part of our life. Most people have a favourite colour and feel good when they’re wearing it, but very few, often including those who manufacture coloured products - anything from makeup to cars - recognize that colours have definite psychological effects on all of us.
The influence of is immediate and powerful. It can affect our moods, our body shapes, our perspective on life and the overall impression that we make on others. The first impression is always the most lasting one, whether we are looking at a person, a scene or a product we might like to buy. And what is the first thing we see when looking at any of these things? COLOUR!
It now starts to become apparent that the colours of the clothes we wear and use in our homes need to be carefully chosen. But how do we choose the right colours? We often are not taught much about colour at school. Perhaps some scientific data in physics or how to mix colours in art, but as for colours that make us look younger, older, taller, slimmer, wealthy, powerful or successful, where do we start? What about colours in our homes to calm, relax, stimulate, promote creativity, conversation or study, or simply to surround you with harmony? Just look at a paint chart and the choices are endless!
Once we even begin to understand the importance of colour in our lives, it becomes obvious that correct use of colour for the Outer You, also enhances the self-image, self-confidence and self-esteem of the Inner You.
The Psychology of Colour works with the emotions we experience from the colours we wear or are in our surroundings. We often use colours in words and phrases to express our feelings. We might see RED when angry or get tied up in RED tape or be unhappy in a BLUE mood once in a BLUE moon. We can be GREEN with envy or in the PINK of health.
Colour speaks it’s own language. For example, RED says ‘Look at me. I’m physical and emotional’, while LIGHT BLUE says “Let me shown you how creative yet analytical I am”. DARK BLUE however says “I love to be the boss and the decision maker”
Nature gives us the gift of colour - it is up to us to accept it, understand it, use it and share it! My personal colour journey has given me 25 years of colour knowledge that I have shared in training, workshops, lectures, magazine articles and with many people who have come into my life to learn about colour in it's many forms.

Health and Harmony Colleges, Australian owned and managed, was established in 1994 by a visionary woman, Gwendoline Ford. Gwendoline strived for self-development and advancement in her personal and professional life, and wanted to share this passion with others. Today, Health and Harmony offers one of the largest ranges of courses in Australia, providing students worldwide with the most up-to-date, comprehensive and exciting courses available in natural therapies, counselling and coaching, nutritional sciences, stress management, massage and many more.
The Healing Centre was opened in 2008 by Monique Williams at the request of a spirit group calling themselves the Healing Angels. At the time, she had started to channel the Angels through written work. They asked her to share their messages with all who would like to learn. Since that time, the Angel's message has grown and they have shown her that they are a part of a much broader group of spiritual beings - The Teachers of Humanity. The Teachers share personal messages and broader teachings about living with conscious connections to personal world and the Source, or God, energy and the healing of our world and our role in that.
